Jesus says in Matthew 19:14, “… let the little children come to me….” At Parkview, we wholeheartedly agree. There are many ways for your kids to get involved and grow at Parkview.

SUNDAY MORNING

NURSERY is available during the Sunday School hour and our Worship Service. Volunteer staffed care is available for children 6 months to 3 years of age. There is also an unstaffed nursing mother’s room and infant room available.

SUNDAY SCHOOL is available for ages 2 and a half through 5th grade (after 5th grade, students graduate into the JMBY youth program) Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. Sunday School classes offer interactive music, Bible stories, and small group time with friends and a caring teacher. Classes are also given an opportunity to participate in group offerings and missions projects.

KIDS HOLIDAY PERFORMANCES are planned for Easter and Christmas. The Christmas Program is usually a larger production and the children practice from October until the performance in mid-December. The Easter performance is usually on Palm Sunday.

WEDNESDAY EVENING

Mid-week classes on Wednesday nights are a lot of fun! We have classes for all children with content and activities for their age. The schedule follows the school year calendar with holiday breaks.

AWANA CUBBIES: 3 & 4 year-old’s enjoy Bible stories, music and activities and learn simple Bible verses. Cubbies meet in the children’s hall.

AWANA SPARKS: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders have songs and story time, memorize Bible verses and wrap up the evening with game time. Sparkies check-in in the main lobby upstairs.

TEAM KID: Students in 3rd-5th grade participate in music, activities, scripture memory and small group time. At Team Kid the students learn about God, how to use the Bible and how to live for Jesus. They meet in the north overflow.

OTHER KIDS ACTIVITIES

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Parkview MB and Ebenfeld churches team up to provide Vacation Bible School every summer for kids Pre-K to 6th grade. More information will be posted closer to VBS.

KIDS CAMP: Southern District Kid’s Camp is a high energy, high impact week of summer camp for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, held here in Hillsboro, Kansas at Tabor College, usually in late June/early July. More information and the registration form can be found here: sdcmbyouth.org.
